Any community or voluntary group or organisation operating within the Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown area is welcome to become a member of SCTN. The benefits of membership include:

Regular updates on courses as they are arranged,

Updates on networking events and funding opportunities and

An annual membership event providing networking opportunities and updates on SCTN activities.

Courses, courses, courses!
The DLR LDTF is now accepting applications for its FETAC Level 5 Community Addiction Studies course for 2010-2011, commencing mid-October. Information and the application can be found on our courses page.

The DLR CCC has published their training schedule for autumn and winter 2010. Check out the calendar to see what's happening.

The South Dublin Adult Education Service has a bunch of FREE programmes added to their calendar too, which we've included in ours for your convenience.

SCTN has published an evaluation of our services from 2007 to 2010.

The evaluation was conducted by Sarah Murphy and is available for your perusal on our scrapbook page.

Southside Partnership DLR has just released A Guide to Policies and Procedures for Community Organisations.

This guide is a fantastic resource for groups or individuals who have just set up a not-for-profit organisation or are thinking about doing so. And because they are so nice, SSP let us offer it for download right here! For the policy templates, visit our scrapbook page.

The Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Childcare Committee (DLR CCC) has published a report Childcare Needs of the Traveller Community in Dún Laoghaire Rathdown. It's available for download on their website and right here too.
